Sustainability starts at home for Tailor Inc.
We're proud to maintain our net carbon zero status, with another year of verified reporting confirming our ongoing commitment and accreditation through the Toitū Net Carbon Zero programme. With solid environmental practices embedded in our operations, our carbon offsets remain manageable, although deciding which initiatives to support is more difficult!
This year, we’re proud to support the Glazebrook Conservation Area, the Spray Point biodiversity project, and the development of improved cook stoves for coffee farmers in Ethiopia. Being net carbon zero is more than a milestone; it’s a core part of our business and culture. That said, if anyone has a game-changing solution for sustainable business travel, we'd love to hear it!
We recognize that the nature of our work has a significant environmental impact. However, through robust conversations, informed decision-making, and commitment to continuous improvement, we’re determined to make a difference. We're excited about the upcoming launch of the Green Building Council’s Green Star Fitouts - a valuable tool offering clear targets and an enhanced rating system for achieving and recognizing sustainable refurbishments and interior fitout projects across New Zealand and Australia.
Here’s to making the right choices and taking meaningful action. 💚
